New Fogs- go xenonmatch, or bright yellow?

Time to replace a fog lamp, which means time to replace both. Going with Hoen, so my choice is either Xenonmatch (which is meant to be the same or similar bright white as the headlights) or Endurance (bright yellow, as you'd see in the 24hr de LeMans, not orange at all.)

My car is black, black, black. Thinking that since this is the fogs, the bright yellow might be nice, since the headlights are bright white.

I have black/black TT. I got the Endurance fogs. Just waiting for an opportunity to lift the car up and install those badboys.

Does a fog install require front bumper removal on a TT? On my 997.1, I use a credit card to "pop" out the housing.

Go endurance yellow. Would be a nice contrast.

My car is black on black and went with yellow fogs, looks awesome against the white headlights.

I would go Xenon match, your car lighting will look a lot brighter.

I have the Hoen endurance bulbs matched with my 3000k hids for my low beams all topped off with yellow lamin-x film over my headlights! I love it, but my local police department doesn't care for them as much as me. I say go with the yellow fogs, if you have 6000k or 8000k low beams, but if they are just stock bulbs just do xenon match.

Anyone make an assembly for 997.1 Carreras to match up with the LED front fogs on the new models?

My vote is for the yellow fogs. Where would I pick up a few of the yellow bulbs, I would love to add them to my car.

Can somebody link me to a site to purchase a set?

Thanks!

Jay

Nah. But the car does need to be lifted up a bit to access the bulb housings underneath the front bumper.

I think the yellow on black would like great too. Can you point out the specific Hoen part number?
Happy holidays,

It is not Hoen part, it is universal mount. For fog lights you need H8. xenon high beams are H11.
