Cab Top Scuffs

I recently noticed a few round, approximately 3cm in diameter, discolorations on the black cab top. I would guess it is where the top rests in the rear deck when retracted. There are two on the outer edge of the top around the B-pillar and one more in the center of the top. They are difficult to see and you have to be looking at the correct angle, but they can be quite noticable. My detail guy tried to comb them out, but to no avail- any ideas?

I don't think I can capture the right angle and light to do it justice- it really is quite strange.........

As you mention, they are caused by the 3 round rubber top rests built into the car to prevent it from moving when stowed. I think they are more like compression marks than scuffs and not real sure if they can be removed. In any event they will return next time you stow the top. Might try a good cleaner and top sealant like Ragg Top, which is approved for Porsche tops. Haven't had the chance to clean and seal mine yet as the weather here is not cooperating. But believe it's a losing battle.

Rear License Plate Frame-Help

Hello All:

Looking for a really nice Rear License Plate Frame that is made out of either full aluminium or stainless steel brushed. It should also read "No Substitute". AN OEM holder if possible.

I have seen others on the net that say "There is no substitute", but can't find the shortened version. Any ideas.

Many thanks..3 more moths to go and the monster arrives!

Same here

I think they're compression marks caused by the way the top lays down when folded. I've chalked them off as unavoidable..but am interested if there is a fix.
