I think that Black or even a dark grey/gun metal would look best. I have seen a white GT3 with Blue wheels, he had blue GT3 graphics to match, looked very nice.

I have both. Silver D2 and Black techarts. I like the clean look with the silver. The black gives it the down and Racy look.

Personally...
I would keep it classy & clean.
Ag Brushed or Polished or combination of both.
If you want a tad different...
I would consider Bronze Metallic.

A nice gunmetal/titanium would be nice IMO. Not quite black so that you see the distinction between the wheel and the tire but also a nice contrast to the white paint on the car.

get the bbs e88 with an aggressive offset --- brushed centers and if you want to do something different go with gold centers. if you can pull off the look it's sick

Thanks for all of the opinions! The brushed looks nice but hard to appreciate on the video- will have to go on HRE's website and take a look- does it really look much different from the stock finish? Black looks great too- but they do disappear into the wheelwell as some have pointed out. How about the titanium/gray finish- like on the 07-08 RS4's with Titanium Package? Axxlrod's car also has darker (but not black) wheels that look good too...btw, what is the finish of the OEM 2010 GT3 wheels? They look darker than on the '07's-

I'm a big fan of the brushed finish (my current lobster forks are black and I hate them) White and black are probably the two best car colors to be searching for wheels for because the options are almost endless.

I think the picture of the 996tt with the bronze wheels looks awesome, as does white, but I don't think I would have the energy to keep them clean. At the end of the day my vote goes to a standard "silver" finish, but its your car do what makes you happy!

I had the same question. Originally I was going to go with a black face, white lip with a black pinstripe. Then, I saw a picture of the wheels I wanted in brushed silver on a 911 and was hooked. Brushed is definitely timeless, but the original color scheme would have been nice also.
