Wheel Color on a White 911?
I apologize if this has been asked before, but wanted to get some opinions regarding wheel colors for a white 911. I currently have the standard finish on my wheels, but was interested perhaps in powdercoating/painting them black/gray/gunmetal/titanium, etc. I'd like something that stands out a bit but still looks classy. What do you guys think?

The 997 in the video above is riding on HRE P43's in brushed and that's exactly what I may go with. Anything shiny but not chrome will work and look superb. The darkest I'd consider is a Bronze or Gunmetal if you wanted that look.
But Brushed is the best IMO!!!

I think the wheel choice for a white car is probably more important than other colors since it is basically a blank canvas.
First Choice: Silver. It's a neutral color that goes with any body color. Chrome doesn't work on a car that has so little of it to begin with.
Second Choice: The other "metal" colors, in order from lightest color to darkest. Grey just barely makes the cut, and would depend on what shade of grey you ended up with.
Third Choice: White. Although I agree that such a color combination has been played out for some time.
Last Choice: Black. Wheels are a large part of a vehicle's "pop". Black wheels (IMHO) hide a lot of what makes a vehicle look good. Black tires, black wheels, plus black wheelwells are just a little too gothic for my tastes. On a white car, the contrast is too severe.
Whatever you choose, grace us with some pics. ok?

i must say they are so hard to clean, it drive you crazy if you have OCD.....my cousin you to let me drive his white 650 with a white lip, and i was cleaning the wheels all the time, the wheels set the tone of the car and boy did they look nasty after a lot of soft bmw braking.....lol

I say keep it clean and classy
Brushed Center/Chrome Lip (or Polished)
or a bit more aggressive Black Center/Polished Lip
