I would add that all of these replies seem to be for the coupe RWD cars. I have a C4S cabrio and whilst my 4 & 6 year olds fit in the back, finding seats that can fit in with the slightly larger gearbox tunnel is a pain. In the end, I have a booster seat behind the driver's seat for my 6 year old - removed the seat cushion and have to pull the driver's seat forward a bit so she can fit her legs in. The 4 year old has a decent car seat - I forget which make, but it wasn't cheap and is narrow. That requires the passenger seat to be a fair way forward for his legs to fit.

The issue with the C4S cabrio is that the tunnel bulges at the back, so there is only about 14" of width to get a seat in. I wish you could buy boosters where the bottom could be moulded to fit - like the expensive ski boots!

Pulled out the seat backs and bottoms, a Recaro Vivo seat fits OK for toddlers, slides a bit.

Hey there, I was wondering if you can post a pic of how you are able to get a snug fit with the (female) seatbelt facing forward so much. I haven't been able to find a car seat that can work with that without it sliding side to side.

Thanks !

Highly recomment a "no shoes" rule, if you can get away with it!

My daughter would destroy the back of the passenger seat if I didn't make her take her shoes off. It can be a bit of a hassle, but worth it for me.

It is truly for short drives like drop offs in the morning but I always have to play backpack juggle and shoe juggle before being able to get them in and out of the car...

I got a black nylon seat back protector with multiple pockets on it at Babies R Us. It hangs by an adjustable loop the goes around the whole front passenger seat. Doesn't bother front passengers...covers 80% on the back of the seat and offers considerable storage for @ $20.

So based on this thread it looks like my wife who is 5'1" and sister in law who is 5'4" and petite should be able to sit back there for a decent ride if needed.

The only complaint my son has is the lower back support is not there. I test drove a few that had a pad between the folding upper and the seat base and a few that did not, ours doesn't so I will be looking. Besides that he loves it!

My sisters-in-law are those height, the taller one said, it's fine as long as we don't go on long road trips.

My 7 year old daughter fits great and loves sitting in back. I have a photo in my photo album, but can't figure out how to post it on my iPad.

We occassionally take the grandkids for a spin (3 & 5) but it's still a snug fit for them on the drivers side because I'm 6'4" and have to put the seat all the way back.

Our 90 lb German Shepard is a perfect fit though. He loves it when the top is down
