which 09 C4S would you pick?
Car 1: Guards red on black full leather, regular sport seats (P77), Bose, Univ. Audio, Bluetooth, heated seats
Car 2: Black on black, regular power heated seats & seats ventilation, Nav, Unversal Audio, Bluetooth, Bose, Dynamic lights, Auto-dimming mirrors
Car 1 is slightly less expensive. Car 1 has no Nav and I realize that adding the nav is cost prohibitive, but personally I don't care too much whether I have it or not.
I like guards red color better than black, but I'm not sure if I should be concerned about its "visibility.
Thanks in advance for your input.

I meant that I like the guards red color better, just to clarify.

I'd say whichever car makes you feel a little more giddy walking up to the driver's door is the right choice. I've gone through adding aftermarket nav to my car, so if you ever decided that it was essential, it can be done and look exceptional. I wouldn't worry about the red being more visible, even with a black car...you aren't going to be incognito.

Car #2 sounds like the version I have, only 2008 vintage. I like having Nav, it has helped me quite a few times already. That said, the guards red is hot, and so are the sports seats. You can always do aftermarket! And for less $, maybe Car #1 is your Huckleberry.

I would also like red better than black, but I think car #2 has some important features that could tip the scales:
- even if you don't care for Navigation - it will make it very very hard to sell the car eventually and will cost you quite a bit. I had a Cayenne S without for Navi and it was virtually impossible to sell
- Second - seat ventilation is brilliant in the summer
Last not least, considering how much money you are going to invest, why don't you find the car that fits exactly what you want, it is out there somewhere ...

Just bear in mind that, though NAV is retrofittable, it will be cost prohibitive should you desire to add it at a later time. Auto-dimming is not retrofittable.
If you plan on keeping the car for a very long time, then go with what your heart desires. But if you are planning on keeping it for 2-3 yrs then trade it in (or sell it) to get another, those missing options will come back and haunt you.
I, personally, like Guard Red, and don't think it stands out too much in a crowd.
p.s. I don't like Black as much as it is very hard to keep it clean.

Having had one black turbo and five red 911 variants, my recommendation is RED. The black turbo was the first for me and I hated to try to keep it clean. Red does not show the dust as easy and it always captures attention at meets and get to gethers. In twenty seven years, no tickets so it is not more "visible" to LEOs.

The seats should be the determining factor. If you are not comfortable driving the car you might as well not own it. Sit in both and test drive both for an extended period, if possible. Whichever one feels the best is the one to purchase.

My choice...
I'm a guards red fan, plus I like the options. If you decide to pass on that one, please let me know...perhaps something I'd be interested in. Re 'red' being a target - I've talked with several law enforcement friends and WHITE is the current target, because they (drivers of white sports cars) feel they are invincible and drive accordingly. I've found that the right lane is typically the faster lane, and have never been stopped in the numerous guards red cars (or Ferraris in the same color). that I've had...but then again..I don't drive like an idiot either. Good luck!
