1.9% Financing

Anyone know if porsche is still offering 1.9% financing on remaining 2009 911's? I have gotten some conflicting info regarding this.

The last i heard (three weeks ago or so) ... only on 09 cars. On 2010 cars there were no programs at that time.

My buddy is trying to buy an '09 right now and he was told he could get 1.9% or a deep discount, but not both. I say negotiate the price first, then walk if they won't allow 1.9%!

PFNA won't allow 1.9 % and the deep discount you mention (up to 20% or more off); multiplle dealers AND a call to PFNA confirmed this.

You can get one or the other but NOT both at least not from PFNA. Other banks may be amenable. So it looks like its either sticker asking price and 1.9% OR 20% maybe more depending on the car from your dealer....you gotta calculate which one is most important savings wise to you I guess!

Good luck.

I got 24% off MSRP + 1.9% on my '08 6 months into '09. It's now 2010 and they need to move the remaining '09's. It just takes some negotiating finesse but I believe it can still be done. The sales price is determined by the dealer not PFNA. It's a sales tactic to tell you you can't have it both ways.

I don't believe the "either or" is a tactic - these are PFNA and PCNA marketing programs for which the purchase must qualify and you can't have them both at the same time - confirmed by multiple dealers when I bought my 09

You can use the Porsche incentives and lease/finance through someone else though, like Chase, just be wary of the lease fees and terms (i.e. prepayment penalties)

Best bet is line up your own financing, then go in and get your best deal. They will probably try to match or slightly beat your financing.

Dealer's like to talk about payment amount, but I am only interested, at 1st, in the final price - then work out the financing that makes most sense.

I had my wheels swapped as well - they refunded the upgraded wheel option difference, but charged for the labor to do it - seemed reasonable.
