Great color. Mod'ing is a very slippery slope with Pcars. I think many of us have learned the hard way that it s a slippery slope. However, it is a great deal fun...

Enjoy the car.

It really comes down to what sound you're looking for. Give us a call sometime. We've tried just about every exhaust configuration possible on the 997.2 so we can tell you exactly how to get that sound you're looking for.

Guys...keep on very important thing in mind. Gundo hack on a 997.2 WILL NOT sound the same as on a 997.1. These engines produce an entirely different exhaust note. Trust me, we've tried.

gundo hack isnt at loud on 997.2 but coupled with a new center muffler it sounds just as great as the 997.1 Hack.

as far as warranty, anything after the cats is fine, mess with the cats and PCNA will ignore any warranty requests, they have said this numerous times...

Ct

I see your in CT.... we have a local eastern car group that meets in the good weather and do an event at foxwoods in CT as well. Send me a PM if your interested in attending and can send you some details. Congrats on the new car!

here is the site www.supercarroadtrips.com and a link to the video of the Ct rally that was put together...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rnTi31P6lrM We had just a couple slick cars attend....north of 100 in total...

Clear sides is a great start.....may suggest ceramic coat black your exhaust tips, gundo hack is a great mod IMO (if you want I have a vid with sound clip and drive by I can post) .... clear 3m bra is a great choice, and regards to tint I did my rear window only and no others. (to hide the baby seat)..... the nose on the 997.2 is so much better then the 997.1 but still could use something IMO, so how about a front shin spoiler..

congrats on the car and happy modding....

welcome aboard

From one newbie to another, this board and P car owners in general are almost as special and gratifying as the car itself. Its a wonderful bunch and such a unique ownership experience. And as corny as it sounds, you just appreciate the ride more and more as you get further seat time.

Best of luck in that beautiful machine.

yup we know...

only place on earth that people will understand...just don't get use to it and for a moment believe people on the outside will get it... they just won't.

A perfect afternoon on a bad weather day:

Put a nice cd into your P car which is in the garage

get the manual out and sit in the car for hours reading the manual, experimenting with the different computers and listen to the CD.

I have spent hundreds of hours in my Porsche just chilling and getting to know it.

Everytime I read the manuals I learn new things.
