Fly is infamous around these parts
Most would get one on ebay for far less; however, e dealer has to enable it.

You could also do an aftermarket touchscreen for far less w/ bluetooth and ipod and real time traffic, etc

I am looking at doing this and I have factory navigation. I really want ipod/bt and the icelink option is not perfect. THe real time traffic seems very useful as well.

Why do you think full leather is an issue in a cap - because of the sun affecting the leather?

Yes for the most part. Given the potential for a weather event while the top is down and the effect of the sun when you're driving with the top down I've always felt there would be a good deal more wear and tear on a full leather interior and hence more up keep due to exposure. As much as I would prefer the full leather I have always stopped short of getting it for the reasons stated.

You would have the same issue with the leather seats as you do with the other leather parts of the car - and I don't think leather is more sensitive to sun that plastic is ...

My Cab has full leather, drives open most of the time and has 5 years of history in Palm Springs and Las Vegas, pretty agressive sun here, but no issue whatsoever.

Now - considering that Full Leather is really only more pleasing for the eye than having practical benefit, one could argue if it is worth thousands of dollars more ....
