yes, Amylynn men do refer to their cars with female adjectives. I commonly refer to my c4s as my "girlfriend." Private dancer, yes, enslaved aerobic instructor, no. I'm not into aerobics, but coming from a female, I could understand why.

I'd reserve the "bikini" shots for the cabriolets. The coupes seem to carry a differrent persona. Maybe they are Amylynn's aerobic instructors with tight clothes exposing those beautiful lines, but while showing less skin.

At anyrate, my car doesn't have the 'thong'...but after seeing the Danica bikini-white C4Scab resemblance...I'll be thinking of it every time. thx. keep up the good work.

The C4S is a tic slower than the C2S. The C4S is more tractable in the adverse weather that the c2S. In earlier variations of the 911 the AWD was much better than the C2S in inclement weather. Now the Porsche engineers have engineered most of the 2WD problems out of the 911. I think they make it for tradition more than anything else. Also a more novice driver can drive the C4S faster than the 2WD variant. I found that out first hand after driving the AWD 911, that the 2WD version will bite your *** on the track.
Not only Tradition but it also instills confidence in adverse weather.
I wanted the purist version of new 911 so I moved to the C2S.

Drive both and see what you think.

+1 on the "4" being more stable in sub-par conditions (rain, slick, sleet, snow) and more predictable in corners. Under normal conditions (dry pavement, not super twisty), the "4" is barely a fraction more planted and doesn't have that much more to offer than the "2". The power split on the axles is barely noticeable. ( I'll leave the track/performance comments to the experts - but most serious drivers will bash the 4's, targa's, and cab's until the grave. I'm more of a daily driver.)

I do like having a "4" because my winter lasts a little longer than most folk's. I have a steep driveway that usually has snow and ice. If I lived in SoCal i would have a 2.

BTW - The new PDK AWD cars appear to go into RWD mode by disengaging the drive shaft to the front axle by pulling up the break 1 point. ( I still need to test drive a PDK '10 4S).

One caution with any Porsche AWD- is the spend on tires. They get chewed up at a much quicker pace, even under even light driving conditions. Also, I've had more alignment and re-balancing on my "4" than my past "2's".

I'm done with the google images posts.

+1 on the hips comment. The wide *** makes it look all the more exotic. I love mine.
