Here attached is an image of how G2 red paint looks like. I am a sloppy painter so do not take that against me. Not if I would care anyway plus from 4' distance no one can see any imperfections anyway. Close-up photo shows more details than eye can even see. When I look at it I see no irregularities on surface, but under flash it looks like there are some. Well, no big deal for me.

Like I said before - major issue here is for weather not to bee too cold as it takes forever for paint to dry up when it`s cold and you cannot apply decals on wet paint so you have to keep car on jacks.
Looks good. You did a good job on those calipers. What kind of paint did you use? Thanks

BTW - A younger kid (late 20's, stranger) parked next to me a few months ago in a parking lot to talk about our P-cars He had red calipers, custom "S" floormats, no rear badge, and told me it was an '05 997 "S". I believed him, until I sat in it and noticed he had standard door sills. He also had only two rear tail pipes. I told him "nice car", and didn't exchange info.

We've seen this thread before.
The behavior and actions (stating he had an S, floormats with an 'S') exhibited by this 997 owner are undefendable. He is the definition of a poser and certainly gives a bad name to non-S owners who have painted their calipers without these poser intentions.

It is my hope that non-S owners will be judged by their peers on a case-by-case basis. I do not believe that a non-S owner should be limited from modifying his car with standard features from an S, as long as he doesn't claim to have an S and doesn't rebadge the car with an 'S' anywhere. This has been my long-standing opinion on the threads we've seen before and I stand by it.
