My brother in law just picked up a 2009 Carrera Cabriolet and is somewhat disappointed he didn't spend the extra money on a Turbo Cabriolet. I've convinced him that he should just modify to gain some performance

Are there any turbo kits or s/c kits available or coming out soon? I saw VF Engineering has a S/C kit for the 997 but I don't know if its for the 997.2.

Can you guys point me the right direction? Thanks!

Great, I have lots to read now about your kit.

What is going to be the cost on the kit? Estimated hp gains?

 

We havent come to a conclusion on pricing yet, but likely somewhere around where our Cayman S kit is sold... it will have options for larger turbo/ball bearing turbo, routine switching and boost control. We bumped a 997.1 C4S 3.8 from 310whp to 448whp and we are still tuning. I wouldnt want to wager a guess as to where the .2 will be as we are just starting on the tuning.

2 years on are there any other supercharging options out there for the 997.2? I know tpc makes a good turbocharging kit but I want to pursue the supercharging route instead.
