Launch Car List
While reading a post earlier today I saw that someone used the term "launch car" and list was posted for the 2009 model year and was wondering if there was a list that someone could provide for the 2007 and 2008 model year.
If anyone can provide a list that would be great.

I don't have the info, but you can find it by using the search function and plugging in "Launch car". That should find you all of the posts when this question was asked before. I believe there was a 2005 Launch car and a 2009 - basically when the new models came out (997.1 and 997.2 as we call them).

-3.6-liter Boxer engine with 345 hp (up from 325)
-3.8-liter Boxer engine with 385 hp (up from 355)
-7-speed Porsche Double-clutch (optional)
-Drive-Off Assistant
-PASM sports chassis (-20 mm vs -10mm)
-New brake system for the 3.6-liter models
-EnhancedTire Pressure Monitoring System
-Bi-Xenon headlights with headlight cleaning system now also standard for 3.6-liter models
-New Porsche Communication Management (PCM 3.0 - which is HD based)
-Enlarged exterior mirrors with new design
-XM satellite radio (SDARS)(optional)
-Universal audio interface (optional)
-Cell phone preparation (Bluetooth®HFP) (optional)
-Have 40% fewer moving parts.
-Do NOT have an intermediate shaft, which was a weak point in the 997.1 -engines which sometimes led to catastrophic engine failures.
-Get better gas mileage
-Have an external water pump, with increased flow capacity

Thanks guys.
yrralis1 that was the list I saw in another post. Thanks!
Were 2005 and 2009 the only years to get a launch car or did 2006, 2007, & 2008 get them as well?
