Recommendation for portable car battery booster?

Well, I decided to take the 911 into work today and found out it wouldn't start. Took a look and apparently the boot lid was down, but not fully latched. I guess this must have drained the battery over the course of a week.

I park in a underground garage with no nearby access to power, so what I would like to do is bring a portable battery booster over to the car and get the battery back up to speed. Any product recommendations from the crew here?

Suggest:
1)Call Porche on call (If you are in Warranty)
2)Call AAA (if not) for a jump
3)Visit dealer to have the trunk lid delay (on the key button) set to its longest.

A battery tender is made only to keep the battery up to charge and not for a dead battery.

On the other hand, you were fortunate in that your hood was already open, making it easy to get at your battery!

Interesting. When I bought my car, the previous owner had a Battery Tender and gave it with the car. He said to close the front trunk on the wire so that the light won't drain the battery.

However, I discovered when working on the car that my trunk light turns off after some period of time with the lid open. Not sure what that period of time is... seems like 5 or 10 min. Do they all not do this?

Also I have a SmartTOP on the car, which allows for a delay to the trunk button on the remote. A must have for any converible. Especially a 6 speed.

sams/costco or any hardware store will have them. I think mines a Peak for like $40 at costco which im giving to my parents and getting this:

You can spend upwards of $250 on these depending on your app. FYI you must fully charge it (usually 8hrs) before using it. Once its fully charged clamp it on to your car battery and let it sit for about 5mins, then jump it. Frankly i would just invest in one rather than calling a wrecker. You can use the tip $ toward the jumper battery!
