So you can pull out the Porsche.
It is torture waiting for spring. My car has been in since Nov. It will be at least mid April before I even have a chance of getting it out of storage.

I feel ya.
Down here in KY you can't buy a few decent days strung together to get the car out. Admittedly, I'm bit ****, so even today which was a sunny day did not take the car out due to all the melting snow and tons of road spray.
I actually put about 30 miles on the car for the month of January and so far February isn't shaping up any better.
Come on March........

December 1 to mid-march (hopefully) for me. It's not just the temperature either, I'm going to wait for the first HEAVY spring rain to wash away all that $#%^@ salt off the road. Nothing will do more damage to car than that stuff.

Man how do you guys justify paying your monthly payment, insurance and not drive your car. Your car's been in storage since Nov, Jesus. I daily my cars, but then again winter in Northern Va isn't that bad. I'd want to get my monthly's worth so I'd drive the car year around.

Here in England we had a bit of snow a few weeks back and the country comes to a stop, pathetic really. However I use my car daily so was just very sensitive with the throttle, its the other idiots on the road who you have to worry about and we sure have more than our share of them! Found myself a car park that is unused and turned the electronics all off and had a blast imagining I was doing a rally, never grown up I'm afraid.

My car is not my DD but I drive it all year round. I'm as **** as anyone about keeping my car clean and detail it myself - wouldn't let anyone else touch it. That said, in the winter, who cares if it gets dirty. I just don't wash it as frequently. Really, the cars won't fall apart if they're dirty, or even if theres some salt on the roads.
I never really understood "putting away" the car thing. There are soooo many beautiful days in the winter to take the car out and go for a drive. There are some winters where there is very little snow; just seems a waste.
there's an easy solution to this - wash the car LOL. Just fill the wash bucket with warm/hot water and wash it! 35 degrees, light jacket, and warm water in the bucket and you're set. No biggie. The neighbors may look at you a little funny though

Not only that...do you know how much a normal aspirated engine LOVES cold air? Driving on a nice, brisk 30 degree day feels like a boost in hp.
