Just wanted to Thank everyone on this forum for all the valuable advice posted here. I bought my '09 C2S today and can't wait to get it home. Especilly wanted to Thank - JustAToy & Cattman for their help and coaching keeping me from getting discouraged while I looked for my "perfect" car.



I do have a few questions for forum members: is it possible to retro fit (if the vehicle didn't come with these options in the first place)...

• led pocket lights in the door pockets (I asked the dealer staff today and they didn't know)
• footwell lighting
• How do I tell if I have the electronic logbook or not? I'd like to get this option, but again how much work is it to add?
• auto dimming mirrors....I've posted a reply to another post, but again I asked the dealer staff and they didn't know.

Congratulations on your purchase. I doubt that the cost and effort to add LED pocket lights would be worth it. I don't miss them at all. Re footwell lights, are you sure you don't already have them? They only come on if you have your center overhead light rocker switch set to middle position.
The log book should show as a menu item. But be forewarned, the use of it is so complicated that I doubt you'll find it useful. Check your PCM manual, when you have a few hours to spare!

Auto-dim mirror is probably a no go - my dealer service called Germany and they said no - not even for interior only.

Footwell lighting - only rear seat is optional, so you should have it in front and probably don't need it for rear seats, right?

Log Book - seems like software or some enabling code - probably could be added.

But enough about what you didn't get, more about what you did get and....

All options that it is possible to retro-fit are sold through the T-Equipment catalogue. Your dealer accessories service should know that.
