I preferred the fun of a rwd car, + lighter weight, + more storage space, + less $ ...

C4 is able to go in snow a bit better than the C2. And, if you are junior-league driver, it can save yer' ****. Otherwise, you are dragging around a bunch of components that don't do anything. Also they made the C4 back end wider to augment the car's already prodigious understeer.

Mainly all wheel drive and wider rear end - typically called wide body. I have a C2S and have only test driven a C4S, so I cannot give provide an objective response. However, the C4S I test drove felt very glued to the road, and the wide rear end is stunning.

There have been several threads on this forum that have discussed, and I included two links below for you.

Good luck, and let me know if there is anything else I can help with.

Personally after owning both I can say they're both great and you can't go wrong with either

If you plan on only summer driving, go for the C2S, all year driving, go C4S

I drive my C4S all year round and have no complaints, just drove in a snow storm last week and it had no issues (other than the people around me)

The widebody on the C4 & C4S is also nice, but other than my rim buying experiences i don't notice it

As mentioned above, searching will bring up a lot of good valid points on both cars,,,,,which will only make your decision harder

I love the widebody of the 4's. One other thing that comes standard, which is often overlooked, is the limited slip differential. I'm not sure if it was always standard on the 4's, but I know that it is currently a standard option on the 4's.

To me, the wider body is worth the extra cost. I haven't spent much time behind the wheel of a 4, so I can't comment on its handling.

To me all that matters is the heart and soul of the car...the engine. And both cars have the same darn engine and hp so it really doesn't matter which you get. Either will make you happy.
