Cabriolet Wind screen/deflector
Since "our" season is on it's way here I'm thinking of buying a wind deflector for my black cab. Besides looking kinda cool, do they really make a difference in terms of wind noise, conversation etc? I'd really like everyone's opinion on this. Thanks! P.S. pictures are encouraged!

I have mine in and with the top down windows up 4 inches, the wifes long hair barely moves and the you carry on a conversation as if the top is up....no kidding!

I don't have one yet for this car (bought in December), but it was a huge difference having one in my M3. You can have a conversation with your copilot on the highway without yelling.

It doesn't make much of a difference with the windows down but it makes a big difference with the windows up. My wife is a big fan of the windscreen.

I rarely install it. I prefer the additional swirl and the look of the car w/o it. But it is incredibly useful if peace with the top down is what you seek. It works remarkably well. A must-have for most.
That said, this will be the first 'winter' that I've not removed it from the front trunk.

Actually, if it's really hot I will sometimes just fold the windscreen down. At least in my other car, I could easily reach back with my right arm and raise or lower it while driving.

They're not terribly expensive, Local Porsche dealer sells them for about $280.00. Well, on second thought I guess it's all relative. After all it's not much more than a couple of wires, a hinge and some mesh!
