Cudos to my dealer
Got my '06 C4 at the end of January from local dealer (Stevinson Imports) and had the nav installed (I know my Garmin's a lot better, but wanted to keep it OEM). It came with 2006 Nav DVD. Now that the 2010 has been released I went back to the dealer and asked if they'd upgrade the system without cost since it was just installed. They said they'd call Porsche and see what they said. Apparently they said tough luck. I suggested that perhaps the dealership could eat the upgrade cost. They said give them a day to explore options. I didn't expect much but the next day they called and said they had pleaded my case to Porsche and they'd decided to cover the upgrade.
Not a big dollar amount involved, but at least the dealer did the right thing. Nice to see this since its my first real encounter with the service department since buying the car. Thought it was worth a note here. Don't know if this violates any policies regarding mentioning a dealer name, but I will state that I have no association with this dealer other than buying my car from them.

Great story . As much as I love these cars I do feel that customer satisfaction is such an important aspect of the car ownership experience . If this is your first Porsche these same people whose professionalism impressed you become like family over the years .
