Awesome story. Don't mean to hijack your thread, but I have a similar story.
Two years ago on thanksgiving day, my family and I were driving up to Wisconsin to share the holiday with some good friends of ours. We run out of gas just before our exit. I'm ashamed to admit I was driving - it was my mother's Land Rover and there was no low-gas warning light. Not a good enough excuse, but that's another story. Anyways, we were stopped about 1/4 mile from the exit, and there's a gas station right there.
It happened to be the coldest day of the year (-5 degrees F, and -15 with the windchill). We're talking Canadian-freeze-my-nuts-off cold here. My brother and I get out to run there together, and within 15 feet, it felt like every exposed area of skin was frost bitten. This good samaritan sees us running and immediately pulls over. He backs up to us and offers to drive us to the gas station. We buy a 2-gallon gas can and fill it up. at this point, we expected him to leave, but he stayed and offered to drive us back to the car. We fill it up, and it's struggling to start. I worried that we had a busted fuel pump, but that wasn't the case. The guy comes over with a gas can that he, coincidentally, had in his van. we fill it up, and were on our way.
I offered to give him fifty bucks for his troubles or at least to cover the two gallons of gas he gave me (especially on Thanksgiving - he was on his way to his family's house), but he refused. I guess you should expect that someone who is good enough to help others for the sake of helping others isn't interested in money.
One thing is for sure - the big man upstairs is keeping score.

It should be a good one!
If they can get to Miller early, and Canada controls the play again, then it should be good results for those North of the 49th!
