For those who know me, know I am no slouch. So tonight i am takin my bride out to dinner of 17yrs. In the northeast the road quaility is crap! We are driving to dinner in her 535. I hit a pothole and feel a wiggle. The snow tire is flat, and I am stuck with a scissor jack and a one handed wrench. I think to call AAA but figure Alcohol Anonymous isnt gonna help us! So I figure I call my good friend Nthusiast for assistance, but wish not to bother him with his family nite I start to change the tire and this van pulls up. The dudes name is Tom and he has a regular style floor jack. (score) Just as i am jacking up the car and take the wheel off , the jack lets go and the car falls on the ground! We end up hookin up another jack point with his jack and install the spare. We get the tire installed and we invite him to dinner 4 a drink. This is where it gets interesting! He drove by us with his wife and 4 kids..... dropped them off @ home, grabbed a jack, light, gloves,and kneel pad , and came back 2 help us! HOLY SH_T...r u kiddin? This is what people are made of.....this was beyond the call of duty! This is what a good person is! The funny part is, his wife asked him when he got home "Your goin to help them arent you"

Ice and snow is the reason for the fall We put his floor jack under nut of the sway bar and lifted it. I hateNY.......this is the second bent rim within 1 year I hear u have room @ your place for 4. Ill pack my bags tonight

I completely disagree with this statement. I have lived in Cali all my life (both Northern and Southern) and have always found that there is someone nice enough to help me out with a jack when I need one. Oh wait, that would be a car "jack"ing Never mind...
