Thumbs up Tubi on 997.2

So yesterday in the snowy part of CT. I decided that box containing the new Tubi set up I have just received the night before from Rennsport-One had sat too long. 16 hours is a long time! That cold garage floor was calling me. I was able to replace the stock exhaust and put this new exhaust on in about 3 hours by myself. I did not remove rear bumper, it was just me and my 13mm socket! I found the whole process very easy and fit and finish were very good. I have to believe there will be more HP. New exhaust is much lighter, looks better, and the sound I think is very good. Nice normal sound below 3k rpm, but after that, it’s very good.
Let me tell you about RennSport, they gave me the best price, shipped it same day and then offered me any help I needed in installing it. I was even offered a call last night, Saturday night around 7pm est. from Justin at RennSport to walk me through something. Based on this great service from RennSport, I will continue to buy my items from them; I cannot say enough good things about them. Class act!
I guess I will hold onto stock one for a while, but I will not go back!

Good to hear you finally got the Tubi installed. Enjoy it Brian, the system will get louder as it breaks itself in after 500+ miles.

Thanks Justin and Rennsport-1 for the great price and service!

Install at my dealer took about 2 1/2 hours
Perfect fit, no drone, no vibration!
Sounds like a Porsche should now.
Congrats on your Tubi system, why does it take 2.5 hrs for the install??? It should only be 1hr with the lift and you dont need to take out the rear bumper. How much did the stealer charge u?

Had the Tubi Exhaust System installed at my dealer the other day (was able to get a great deal).

It sounds great! On cold start-up it gurgles and burbles. On hard acceleration it has a higher pitched "exotic" growl to it. It's loud when you want it to be, but isn't much louder than stock in the lower RPM ranges. I have been taking the long way home just enjoying the wonderful sound the car now makes.

My question is people have mentioned that the exhaust opens up with use. Does this mean it gets a deeper growl as you put more miles on it? How many miles does this usually take? I mean I love the sound now, but if it improves from here that would be fantastic!
