Anybody know this car? Things to look for?

My friend recently had a close-call with a used 911 he bought from a private seller. He even had it checked out professionally, and the tests were clean.
IMHO, when you buy a high-end vehicle like this, CPO is the only way to go, unless the car is really new and still under factory warranty. Buying a CPO isn't just for the warranty - like someone else mentioned, Porsche does not CPO every vehicle (a lot of strict criterias like no accidents, over-rev, etc), meaning that you can be sure that a CPO vehicle has a clean bill of health. So even at Porsche dealers, if there are used 997s that are not CPO'd, you have to automatically be skeptical. And I wouldn't touch those indy dealer cars with a 10 yard stick...
I just got a great deal on a CPO 07 C2. Find one you like and be aggressive with the negotiations. the longer the car sits on the lot, the more desperate they are to get it out. And the further you go from central metropolis, the cheaper it gets!
