Tires for DD and light track use

Time is coming to get some new tires. What would people recommend for a C4S, mainly DD and some track use here and there. Stick to the Pilot Sports? Or can better things be had for the money?

I recommend black tires...
And the search button.

Not to be rude but there are TONS of over discussed threads on tires.

Actually, when I opened this one the thread directly above yours was asking a similar question.

I would use PS2's for your requirements, as they are a very good tire, and I am not sure what is and isn't available in your neck of the woods.

I did search "tires" and went through 6 pages of crap. If you look abit closer the other tire topic is for track tires, not DD's.

But thanks for the help anyways.

Take a look at the Tire Rack website and put in your car and see what Summer tire options come up. I like the PS2, but there are Bridgestone options. Not sure if the new RE11 comes in our sizes or not, but I've heard it's a great tire for street and limited track use. Nitto has the NT05 that I'll put on our Boxster S (DD and my kids track with it), but again, I don't think it comes in the right size for our 997s.
