I know the ex-owner of that car, he flips them constantly. That was an ordered car that was sold back to Momentum Porsche in Houston, then sold by Momentum to Expo as an end-of-year inventory clearance. It's not a demo.

911 flyn, note the car has only just started being advertised by Expo. It's probably hung around Momentum at an unrealistic price, which is why it didn't sell.
From what I understand, the Expo guys are aboveboard - a friend of mine bought his 355 Spider, and praised them extensively. They also price their cars fairly realistically. That being said, you can probably knock another grand or two off the car, since dealers are giving $4K - $5K rebates on new cars.
Finally, while it has some nice features, the car is not optioned with either the Sports Chrono or the NAV, which are two of the "best" options IMO, although this is clearly subjective.

Interesting to see the car land up here. I had talked to Momentum a couple of months ago about buying the car - they wanted sticker for it, despite the mileage. I told them they were crazy, and that I was willing to offer a reasonable discount, but they didn't budge. Can't help but feeling a little smug right about it now.

911 flyn,
I did not chose the Cayenne over the 911. I love the 911, but no dealer was gonna give me a good enough discount on it. So i was pretty much looking at 85k car vs. 65k Cayenne S. So I chose the Cayenne S for now. Hopefully by mid year I can save up enough to get into the 911 as well. I really like the new 911 C2S. I just had to shuffle some things and hopefully by the end of the year, i will have both.

This is a puzzling listing. I have no doubt it is for real but who is making money on this deal? Certainly the seller is yet what did they get the car for?$70,000 if that?
The first buyer must have paid over $90,000 with taxes and drove it less than 400 miles? I know people take a bath when buying new Porsches but this is ridiculous.

Werd! So what made you go with the Cayenne S over a 997 Lil Raja. Was it only a matter of perceived value?

I think if I read your earlier response right, that is what you decided to do, with the idea that you would pick up a C2S when the price was right.
