Yea mines 1200 on the new C2S

 

Any idea how much of an increase your payments would be for a 997 as a daily driver vs. pleasure use?

 

I think on a car like the Panamera, it isn't so much about the car/driver as it is about the lack of information about the way they will be driven. Obviously this is an expensive car and expensive to repair, but just as important is how often willl they get into accicents?
If you were an insurance underwriter and you had zero data about a car, where would bring those first couple of years of rates? Start low and hope people drive well?
My guess is they just start high and wait for data to come in. If a big enough market, they will use the data to support lower pricing to help stay competetive in the space (as in a Carrera/Carrera S). I personally don't feel my insurance on my C2S is over the top (like 350 per 6 months on a weekend car policy).
