ducktail downforce

I currently have the GT3 front with no wing and want to add the Sport Classic Ducktail. Do you guys think it will provide sufficient downforce to balance out the gt3 front? Does the ducktail add as a spoiler (reducing lift) or an actual wing (providing downforce)?

i've been wondering the same thing. I assume it would since the 911 sport classic seems to use a GT3-esc front bumper but it also has the GT3 rear so i'm not sure how that would effect it.

Also wonder if it provides enough cooling to the engine....

I think it will add what you need. If you look at GT3, the rear wing is usually in a pretty neutral position unless the owner has changed it to a more aggressive position (8 degrees) So the ducktail will add the downforce (I dont know the number) to balance your front spoiler. Unless you are going to be hitting 160 or more you should be fine. Just look at the styling. The ducktail on a modern car is not done very often and could hurt you on resale. So think about keeping your original decklid to convert it back. I am not saying its a sure thing to hurt resale, just think about it.

I believe that each aerokit is designed and tested with an intended purpose . In my opinion mixing and matching aerokits is a huge no no.

For highway speeds and overall street driving no worries....also at the track you can get away with what ever. You can and will notice aero downforce at tracks where you are going through sweeping turns at over 100-120mph.
