Any problems with Fabspeed Cold Air Intake

Hello all. I know this is a silly question, but has anyone had any problems with the Fabspeed cold air intake. I just want a minor mod and I have no desire to take our the factory air box. Thanks for the input.

Nope. Decent mod for the $ though my tube seemed a tad too long which took a few more minutes of wrestling to get on. Might I suggest you get the BMC filter too or at least order a new OEM air filter if it's time since you'll mostly be in there anyway...

I've been thinking about this mod for a while now. I don't see any issue with it. Even if I don't notice a difference in hp, I'm sure that the blocked off resenator will produce a different sound...and for me, a bit different is enough.

Thanks for the input. I know this has been discussed before, but I am a little hesitant to change things on this car. My Corvette I didn't think twice, but this a litte different! I could not imagine this leading to any problems, but wanted to check with the experts. I think I will just take it off and put original on when I go for service. Thanks again.

I got mine last October. For $225 it's great. I did have a little wrestling with the hose but it only fits one way. It took me ~ 15-20 mins and I was very thorough. It's easy. Then I took it out for a drive immediately. For me, throttle response was a touch better, and sound is much better IMHO, enough that I'm hesitant to screw w/ exhaust. I also noticed when you're full throttle > 6000 rpm is MUCH better.

I guess what I'm saying is: it's a slam dunk. I'd get it if I was you.
