What Brand?

This is an upgrade I'm going to do once the SC install is complete. It definitely seems like everyone that has done the upgrade thinks it's worth it. Is there a brand of choice?
I've found OEM, B&M, EVOMS, and Techart...

OEM - $505 list - nice because it’s OEM
B&M - $299 list - over 55 years of experience
EVOMS - $259 list - good company track record, shifter is unique in that you can adjust the shifter resistance with supplied bushings, as far as I know this is not available on others. Also there is $120 option for a billet shift linkage.
Techart - $890 list - seems like alot of $ compared to others.
It seems like they all decrease throw by 30%-35%

Are there any real differences in how they're all constructed? Who has the best deals? So what are the differences? Any input would be greatly appreciated.

i went with OEM for several reasons.

1- i've read its the best one for our cars - ofcourse 'best' is subjective.. but i've read numerous posts where forum members state that this is how our car should have came from the factory.. plus doesn't GT3 have the same ssk ?

2- its an easier install - i believe the whole assembly is one piece.. take the old one out and drop in the old one.. pretty simple. i could be wrong, but the other SSKs are different and more complex install.

3- my car is CPOed until 2013.. for now, i don't wanna mess with aftermarket parts that can void my warranty..

4- order it from Justin @ rennsport1 - just PM him and he'll take care of u.. he's a good guy !

BTW i got my eye on ur SC project.. looks like its almost done !

Thanks for the info! I ended up ordering the EVOMS SSK and the Billet Shift Linkeage. I dealt with Rod @ EVOMS, seems like a good guy with decent knowledge. From what I found it seems that the OEM SSK uses alot of plastic parts which imo is not as good. I ended up getting the SSK and the billet linkeage for close to the same $ as just the OEM SSK. I'm guessing the billet shift linkage is probably overkill, but I guess I'll never have to worry about it breaking. Anyway I'm hoping they're quality parts with an easy install.
The SC is so close to being done the anxiety is killing me. lol
