Valved Bypass pipes ?
I was just wondering why such a product is not available. Nothing sounds meaner than the sound of a muffler bypass on a 911
Why wont i do it? no way can i live with the terrible drone in the cabin that happens at low rpms...
some of the solutions that i can come up with for this is to use an exhaust valve that can lower the sound in those "drone" rpms and then the valve opens up after that(say after 4K rpms) . Or, the valves could open depending on throttle position...
Is this idea achievable? how?
I hope some of the vendors chime in on this topic.
