If you could take a look that would be awesome! I am not 100% on it so please dont go if its any trouble. I am **** about the condition of the car so if the rims are rashed or the leather is worn or buttons/dash are scratched I would like to know. My guess is I am a typical used P-car buyer looking for anything and everything good and bad.

Thanks!

I understand that you want to save money but the 49K asking price versus a 59K asking price on another car with less miles, no over revs. newer, just make more sense to me. If that prices you out of the market .. then just wait . It's better to buy no car than buy the wrong car. Whichever car you buy .. don't you want to have it with at little doubt as possible ? An over rev, the high miles, the 05 age --this all adds up.

59k is way over my budget. You are right the little things do add up. Since it is a CPO, I will put 6k a year on it max, and I am trying to have this be the car that I hold onto for more than 3 years I think the gamble might be worth it. To wait would mean years of saving. This is at the top of my car budget. You gotta start somewhere!

Ok gloves -
Did a little searching in my region and tons of cars are popping up. there's no shortage of cars . Here's three

1) This one is a 2007 car and the ad says he'll show all his service records and you probably can talk to the guys who serviced his car too. plus the car has "supple" which implies a mature (older) driver. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

2) This car is an 06 "S" witj aerokit and PSE (awesome options) . Plus Naples is a quiet roads and relatively peaceful Florida type of region. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

3) This car is up in Melborne but is certified. an 'S" and an 06 with low miles. I am not crazy for the red interior but it does look like someone custom ordered that car. http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

Hey thanks for looking out fo me.

1 - Only 12k miles less than the CA car. PP sale so no CPO status but does have factory, my guess for a year or two which would be nice. Probably also wont go much below asking since it is an 07.

2 - That car is sick. I would love to have that but at 54k it is way to high. No warranty on that for sure. I am now drooling

3 - Color...that make it a no go.

Seriously, you are being far more helpfull than you even know. Thank you, since this is my first P-car I need all the help I can get.

That was my favorite of the three too. Number 1 had his price range, lower miles, and an individual owner who sounded very willing to disclose the car's history. Number three had that CPO and even thoigh lapis and red are off beat choices it does show someone placed time into the car .

Number 2 has it all . The aerokit and PSE alone make up thousands but it has no CPO . I have no idea if it's off warranty .

Yeah - mine had 2 weeks left on the factory warranty when I bought it. I added about $3K to get a three year extended warranty (exclusionary) - I hope that it's a good one if I need it.

That is why I feel that even though the car isnt perfect that its 2 year CPO from date of purchase makes it a good buy. The price is low because the miles are on the high side. PCS has seen it in person and says it all checks out. I am thinking about flying out to see it before I pull the trigger.

I have others I am still looking at. One local that is a non-S that I am waiting on the info. One 06 S in Arizona that looks great but I think will be to much.

I do highly recommend you get car with less optons (but with all essentials you DO want to have) but with CPO. I did at least 4 minor things that did not cost me a thing (biggest was a new water pump) and hopefully next week will get new clutch (release bearing was making noises and mechanic sensed some vibration, so it warrants disassembly), again, as labor gets covered by dealer - it is a best deal one can get.

Stuff may/does happen with this cars. With CPO most of it will cost you nothing, without CPO it will very quickly convert your $50K car into $60K car. Warranty is not something you want to play with until you got your car into perfect shape.

Most of owners of leased cars prior to turning it back do not really care to get it into tip-top shape and can ignore things you will not want to ignore if you intend to keep driving this car for any more or less long period of time.

Now, about that white car - you can always add any exterior plastic to any car. It is minor. PSE - some like it but IMHO $900 fabspeed max-flo mufflers plus $1300 x-pipe do generate much meaner sound if you are after it.

You are in MA as I am - swo look for cars with xenons (some base cars may not have it), dimmed mirrors, heated seats, preferably ventilated seats, heated steering wheel (very rare), already installed NAV system, and I think it is all about absolute essentials. After you get it - install right away mods4cars chip which will enable right passenger mirror drop down function you would only get with powered seats. 200 cell cats plus softronic flash with sport mode enabled - and you have it all.

You cannot upgrade your motor and clutch easily and install PASM system so if you do think you want 'S' car with switchable PASM suspension - make that decision now and narrow your search accordingly, as later it will not be simple to add. All the rest in this car is upgradeable.

Really good points - I think that the full leather on the white car is a value adder - but I have no problems with the standard interior on mine. For me, the S is essential - gotta love those brakes, as well as the PASM sport and the extra power.

Keeping in mind that an extended warranty would be $3K (+), you've now gone to a $57K car - and we all must live within our budgets, whatever they may be. The CA car does look very clean, and is CPO by a reputable dealer - Gloves won't be going wrong if he goes with that one.

I saw it before you removed it. It's beautiful but overpriced --however that's really what i was saying earlier when I said that 59K vs 49K can mean a huge difference. In order to get 49K it means finding awell kept private sale car -- because if you opt for a dealership lot CPO it will have high miles, 05 year engine, age, and even though service might be free the car can still eat up 10 percent of those two years in the shop plus have over 50K miles when you try to sell it.
