What tunes do you listen to in your Pcar?

I mostly listen to WAV files ripped onto my iPod - random. But lately, I decided to to do albums - today was Robin Trower / Bridge of Sighs and with the Bose on Linear/Surround/+2 Bass/+2 Treble, it sounded fantastic. What I notice about the Bose setup is that it is not forgiving for a bad mix, but that Trower album is done right and it really shows.
I need to redo my iPod though - I have a stack load of Glenn Gould Bach and Beethoven piano that I need to load in. Piano usually sounds really good on the Bose setup.

But I spend plenty of time listening to the iPod when I'm not driving, usually some old stuff like:
Yes
Genesis (from when Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett were in the band)
and also some new stuff like:
Deadmau5
Simian Mobile Disco

Huge Dan fan here - but to me, nothing compares to the classic Dan - even though the production quality has continued to raise the bar, the musicianship that was Larry Carlton, Rick Derringer, Denny Dias, Skunk Baxter and more, just doesn't compare. Those old albums were painfully hand crafted.
The good news is that some of those discs are on DVDA and DTS 5.1 - and they do sound stellar. Becker, Fagen, Roger Nichols, Elliott Scheiner - genius.

80's all the way.
also, just want to add that the bose system sucks. one of the most non-linear acoustic responses I've ever heard, and it's not even all that clear. fine by me though - I keep the windows down and listen to the bark and mechanical clatter of the engine most of the time.

I agree with you. I also think the Bose system is good. I listen to top 40, alternative rock and some hip hop. I also admit that I turn the stereo off a lot to hear the engine.

News in the morning on weekdays, but on other circumstances ProgPower METAL no Black Metal in the P-Car. When hangin' out with wifey Pop Rock or 80's hair metal. With the kids Ozzy or some new Gothic stuff. The softest tunes Satriani like Music.
