Don't be surprised if 1. your post doesn't get answered or 2. you get flamed for not searching.

It's pretty unanimous that the Porsche SSK is the best, hands down.

Not being rude but really...did you just ask that? If you were to actually look at the first page you would have already seen this thread https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...1-ssk-one.html

now i guess you could have a 997.2 but the answer would still be the same.

I have a B&M short shift kit in mine. Many less dineros than factory kit. I think that the factory kit is made by B&M isn't it?

Don't think so...unless B&M has a factory in Germany.

I have the factory SSK, pretty happy with it. I heard to install the B&M you need to modify the original ****er unit...

Try Suncoast! They are a sponsor and have the best deals for OEM stuff.

Anyone have any experience with the Maxspeed SSK? At $100 it seems to good to be true.

You can find a lot of info on SSK by using the "search" function... I personally installed the OEM SSK last week and have not looked back. The shifts are crisper and shorter. It is a marked improvement over the stock shifter. I still miss the shifter from my old S2K though!

I would just buy the Porsche unit, it will work without any issues. Also if you ever have an issue with warranty the dealer can't point the finger at the third party item.

Trust me. I've learned to search before asking a question, but couldnt find much info about that shifter in particular. Most info is always BM vs OEM.

I had a B&M shifter installed about a month ago. I have never tried a Porsche SSK but the B&M shifter is great. It is much less expensive than the Porsche SSK but it still cost me another $305 to have it installed.
