I too am a believer in not looking back after the purchase. Good or bad, wise or imprudent, it's over. Nothing left but enjoying a spectacular car. I have an 05 and can't say enough about it's greatness. Sure every year marks some type of improvement, but is simply a remarkable machine. Great performance, reasonable economy, quite dependable and well engineered to enable DIY mods and maintenance.
GL.

I hope if I ever get pulled over it will be from someone like you! You will understand when I tell you "it did not feel like I was speeding" is truthful.

Hey Ryan,

That black 05 with the 20" rims ended up north in Canada. I just saw a dealer in Quebec listing that car asking $65k cdn. Pretty steep mark up from $42k usd

interesting.. in the shopping process, a lot of pvt party sellers tell me they get a lot of calls from Canada. I almost purchased an 05 C2S w/ 25K for $45K. I couldn't pull the trigger due to my despise of the supple leather... He sold the car to a guy in Canada.

FWIW Mr. Cop, I like the way your silver C2S looks... Not a big fan of the smoke lights, etc. Yours looks more classy and clean... that black one is the equivalent of a so-so chick w/ a tramp stamp and 6" heels...

not to get off topic but does the supple leather have a more worn out look vs the regular leather after some time?

i guess the thing is "it can" look more worn... i just thought the supple leather made the interior look a little to "996ish" to me and also less sporty. I like the clean look of the taught leather. Many of the newer luxury cars have gone in that direction nowadays.

When I first started looking at 997s, I sat in a car with black supple leather and thought "there's something I don't like about this interior", and then it hit me that it was the seats.

Ok, back to the original topic... how about some more pics of the car?
