The single greatest mod for ne 997.2....a la' yrralis1

The only reason I got rid of my 92C2 was because the power seat was not comfortable for me back and forth from NJ to MA and the clutch was heavy in intense traffic.
After my first 997, I rarely, looked back!
I still review the pictures of all my former 911's wistfully.

Clay1G: 997.2 is a great car and will one day standout as a classic amongst other cars in the 911 evolution....but the carrera 3.2 is something else. Everything about it...the shape, sound, smell (I could go on and on and on) just feels right.

I recently test drove an 84 3.2, it had about 140,000 miles on the clock and the interior/exterior is what I'd call "rugged", but...
...wow.
The only Porsche's I'd driven up until that point were a 2002 996 C4S (test drive), and of course my own 996TT which I've had for about half a year.
I can't explain it. The 3.2 just felt... "right". It's not half as refined, and not even a fraction as fast as the Turbo. But the car has soul.
I love the way it handled, sounded, reacted, etc. I can immediately recognize a lot of the iconic things that have carried over, even into the far more polished feel of the 996TT.
But in the same way they're worlds apart.
The asking price for this one is $13,000 CDN.
I think I've almost spent that much on my freakin' TT since I've owned it (engine out repair + diagnostic "goose hunt")
I think this particular car (the one I drove) is a bit rough and I'll take a pass, but I'm actively looking for one as we speak. It was literally a magical experience.

Thank you for all the very nice comments. You are all going to love these set of pictures that highlight some of the iconic parts that make up the classic 911. The Fuch's wheels, headlights with straight front fenders, dashboard with 5 large dials and ofcourse the timeless Porsche badge (notice that the badge is not smooth like the 997 and has PORSCHE lettering in the gold). Let me know if you like it. I have also included a shot of the interior as requested.
