Yokohama AD08 and alignment done.

The local performance shop that specializes in high end cars here charges $195 - guess it depends on geographic location as well. I know our local Porsche dealership is about $240 for alignment.

Re-11's get too soft/tacky after spirited use in hot climates. Otherwise, good tyres. PS2 are terrible, they don't give enough to the road for grip. I went through a set of RE-11's in 3000kms, whereas PS2 are seeing 6,000km with little wear. However, the PS2's allowed me to see the scrub closer than I would have liked. For no apparent reason, all four wheels drifted, luckily I live to tell the tale. After my CSI type inspection of the road, I concluded the tyres were the weakest link (not the driver). The Yokos sound like a great option. I've read a rave review about Hankook tyres (Korean tires) on this forum that's also worth checking out.

Freshly installed but so far i love them. Gripy, communicative, not too loud... That is a really big upgrade from my Hankook's.
Can't complaint about my rear Pirelli Pzero 305-25-20 either, but i knew them already from my older 911.

i don't know about 60% but they start to be a bit noisier at only 80% thread left

Agree with the importance of a good alignment.
I discussed suspension mods with my mechanic after noticing the degree of wear on the outer edge of the tire during my last track day. He said you could do a lot with a more aggressive alignment adding more negative camber.
The car is now much more stable under hard cornering. You can feel that the outside tires ride flatter with less squeal and better grip.
Best $150 spent, ever, IMHO.
Thanks for the review of the Yokohamas.

From my experience the Ps2's and the Pirellis get loud when they are about wore out too.

dealer not getting beyond .5 neg camber
Matt, thanks for the post.
I've had my car into the dealer twice this spring trying to get alignment specs similar to yours and they got front camber to -0.4 the first time and then -0.5 the second try. They said that is the best they could do. They got the rears to -1.5.
I've read on this forum and Rennlist that -0.8 or maybe -1.0 is the best we can get up front on a stock 997S. I'd be happy with that.
Anybody know why my dealer tech is having trouble getting past -0.5 front camber?
