Overheating during HPDE

In my case the oil temp was up for a while before the water temp went up, then it went up towards the top pretty quick...maybe evereything heat soaked at that point. Once I slowed down for a lap it came down pretty quick while the oil temp stayed up.

I'm going in next week to have everything checked out.

It does seem that the 2011 MY Carerra S PDK cars will come with the third center radiator. I have asked the folks at my dealer to look into a factory backed retrofit for My 2009 and 2010 cars.

Interesting - I assumed that the thermostat and radiators held the coolant temperature constant at 175 unless the cooling capacity was exceeded. As I don't believe that there is a thermostat in the oil system, I would expect the oil temperature to fluctuate quite a bit under various loads.
