I kind of agree on the upswing of used car values. It's not like our cars aren't going to depreciate, but they definitely depreciated TOO much in late 2009 and IMO have been rebounding a bit since. A correction in values perhaps as I'm absolutely not seeing the deals that were to be had in the past. Ferrari, Lambo, Porsche, the prices are simply much stronger today than a year ago.
Less buyers of new sports cars equals less used sports cars available coming to market. Heck, I never would have purchased my 06S Aero for $115k new, but at mid 50's today it's a downright bargain in my eyes.

Just as a data point, I am picking up a 2006 C2S from NV next week. 63k highway miles and no CPO for $42k. A bit of a gamble, but the car has full records and PPI, 60k service done, full leather, nav, bose, power heated seats, 6speed, chrono and X51.
