Nr auto caveat emptor
The facts: I did research regarding 997 after-market wings and people satisfied/dissatisfied with their purchases. I did hear some dissatisfaction with NR AUTO and the quality or the lack thereof for their parts. Well, after calling and personnally speaking with Neal/Marsha several times and being promissed a quality wing that would fit without any major fitmit issues I decided it was cost effective to buy a NR AUTO wing. While waiting a month for a "new" mold to be formed, because the last mold was producing sub-par wings, I finally received the wing. The wing blade and base was laid on the car. I say laid because the fit was so horrorable the base would not fit into the area it was promissed to fit. My body shop tech called and stated he would not put this product on a Kia Sephia (no offense if you own a Kia Sephia). I spoke with Neal again and advised him of the fitment issues. He stated he stands behind his products and this has happened before, and would "make it right" for me. I advised him the body shop would have to re-work the base to make it fit, and was he going to pay for the re-work. He stated, "Yes, to make it right." Well, after all said in done and the work that was needed, I sent Neal a copy of the re-work receipt that I paid. He stated that he would only pay half as he out-sources his work and does not manufacurer his parts only sells them! I advised him that I purchased from him with a promise of "guaranteed fitment", and if any fitment issues were involved he would, "make it right". Well, I learned a valuable lesson: CAVEAT EMPTOR WITH NR AUTO. If you have a 100k car do NOT skimp on quality even with promises and buy the right quality your car and peace of mind deserves. He has failed to "make it right" with his product and pay the cost of the re-work. MY ADVISE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM NR AUTO, AND DON'T SKIMP OF THE QUALITY OF YOUR PORSCHE.

I had problems with them before - same conclusion. I can't believe they are still in business.

wow, thanks for the heads up, I was very close to buying a GT3 bumper from them for my Cayman...

Disappointing
I learned a valuable lesson. Hopefully others will learn vicariously through me with NR Auto.

yeah I heard they suck. Try Misha, just as cheap but much better quality.

I'm sorry to hear about it
OEM parts cost a lot, but at least you know they will fit perfect... I sure am glad I went with OEM parts

now splitting
The blade is obviously made from two pieces and cheaply bonded as it is now splitting. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM NR AUTO!

WOW. Thanks for the heads up. I was just looking at some wings on their site too.

I checked Misha's website and do not see an option similar to NR Auto's type III - http://www.nrauto.com/product_body.a...Porsche&type=1
Do you know if they custom make or have others not listed?

Good to know about NR, thanks for sharing, sorry about your experience. I learned an expensive lesson with a local body shop and the good news is we won't make the same mistakes again. Hopefully.

...and if I was really pissed I would let some folks know on the other forums too. He'll lose more in business than he bargined for....
