I wanted to see how easy it was to remove the rear LED light assembly on my 2009 C2S and found a thin cable pull wire within the driver side rear light assembly well. It was secured down by a fabric tape. When I followed where it went, it seem to end up right at the rear tailgate lock assembly. Does anyone know what this is for? I was theorizing that it's a pull for manually releasing the deck lock in case the battery fails? But then, how would you reach in there?
