GT 3 TEC Front Splitter
I made a mistake and posted this in the vendor clasifieds
I always thought the plain Carreras needed some type of lip, but I didn't want anything too big. I looked at many, but went with the GT3 design. Joel was very helpful on the phone and it shipped out and was received quickly. I was thinking I might have left it black, but my car is Basalt Black, and it relay doesn't match very well. I test fitted it on the car before I get it painted and took some picks. It feels and looks very sturdy, and fit so well that during the photos it is holding on by friction alone. Hopefully I can get it painted this week, and get it permanently mounted by next weekend. I wil post the photos when completed.

Karl that looks great. Noticed you're in ny. Let me know how the install goes including the paintjob, I would like to do something similar. I do hear the spoiler takes a beating and in nyc, maybe not a good idea for me, but it just looks so damn good!!!!

I am on the island so it's not such a problem. From the looks of the splitter, and the way it is installed it realy is not much lower than stock. I don't think it will be much of a problem.

Yep, they are GT3 Tek. I have both painted and non-painted. My car is the car in the GT3TEK catalog. Great buncha guys there. There are going to be whole line of stuff coming soon. I can't wait.

I finally got it painted and installed it today, very easy once you have it lined up. I think it looks good, just enough without being too low that it scrapes on every driveway.
The paint needs to cure for a few days, then the finish will look better after being buffed out.

How is it installed (screws - where?)?
Is there a noticeable difference in how the car drives - for example more downforce at speed holding the front end to the road? Or is this really cosmetic?
