Aftermarket parking sensors...

Hi all,

I guess I am spoiled. Every car I have owned in the last 10-15 years has had back up (and front) sensors. I really love this feature!

Has anyone added after market back up sensors to their P-Car?

I so, what brand did you go with and any tips for installing them? I dont even care about the visual aspect as long as there is an audible beeping when I get close to an object.

Thoughts, opinions, experiences most welcome.

Thank you all in advance,

Steve

PS: Yeah, I am a good driver, even in reverse. Its just added piece of mind. Make sense?

Lorne YVR is infamous around these parts
I had aftermarket sensors installed in my Audi A4 that I bought a couple of months ago. don't know the name, but they work just fine and the installer did a great job of matching the paint. they had to do a custom match.

If you are interested, contact Open Road Audi in Vancouver BC

I have never installed one on a Porsche, but I have installed on other cars the one that installs in the license plate bracket. Had great results, cheap and easy to do yourself. Maybe you might want to research the same.

Wow, glad I live in Germany! I had back up sensors put on my 2007 Cayman at my local Porsche dealer a year ago - Euro 410. Parts and labor.
