PZero vs PS2
#31
Any idea when the Michelin PS3 comes out and when they will phase out the PS2?

No idea, but beware that many newer tire reformulations are politically (enviro) driven - longer life, less friction, but less grip... Not all tires but many.

Ps2's are the best stock tire I have ever had . I even have them on my M3 and Honda . I like them that much.

I agree on the P zero . I had them on one of my 996 cars as well as one of my 997S cars . It may have been the launch car . Awful tire --no stick , weak in rain, easy to get a flat, wore out fast --blech .

I second this comment. Upsized the rears to 305's which were "unavailable" in the PS2's, which I have had before. So, I went with the PZero's. After 1 week of DD use and 2 sessions (about 40 minutes) DE, several people commented on how "trashed" the PZero's looked. They were shocked when I told them they were weeks old. Grip for grip, I had a hard a time differentiating. They just don't seem as durable for the cost. I can usually get an entire season of DE's (2-3 weekends) plus DD in between. I almost need to replace them after a few weeks. PS2's for the next set.
