Why more power? What's the point? At one point so much power will break traction and what's that good for?

Contrary to those who swear by the old Mezger engine, if I were you, I would get a 2010 Turbo PDK - now that is an awesome package if you like FI engines.

The Turbo PDK is a great car but it can not compete with the Evoms car . It's not even close. The tuners have determined how much Hp can run on these cars before internals have to be changed . The Evt700 was designed as a bolt on daily driving huge upgrade and the 780 is in line with this . the strength is shown at straight line track events like Texas Mile as well as Miami Mile . I hesitate mostly out of fearing the unknown . I have never driven 200 mph so even though it a track event on an open and clear space those upper limits are unknown to me . My car right now is tuned to thse levels by a team of specialists who have worked hard alongside the tuners . It's not as though i just slapped on a few parts and screamed vrrrooom , vrrrooom . There was careful planing (many hours) , hard work, and great expense just to make the car. It took 18 months to make it. It can drive very civilized but it can also feel like low level flying . The acceleration is linear and almost as seamless as a NA car. It will not only beat a PDK car . It will cream it . They are now working on a PDK car .. it's not done yet but quite often what happens is that the tuners become more advanced with the older cars first . They have more time to work with that engine .

For example .. look at this 996tt . It's much older than my car ,, but quite a monster.

Yes, but why? Did you also tune tune the suspension and got bigger tires and proper rubber to match the power? In my view the Weissach balance is just right. I do not see the point of more and even more power.

That's why you are not a Turbo owner . Most who buy and mod the car want "more ,better, faster" !!! and fast .. is never fast enough.

suspension includes gt2 sways , coil overs . tires are stock and are running that way even on the 800Hp cars . Brakes are BBK Brembo. full Techart Type 1 aerokit and Comp wheels.

If you's like to read about my car ..
Here --

If you's like to see it in many little pieces--
https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ul-engine.html

adias --this is a very different type of car and the Turbo forum generally has a different tone in regards to what one expects from his car.

My turbo was a completely separate project than my ideas with NA cars . It's somewhat being fluent in different languages .

If you're saying you only drive your vehicle on the street, you need to get cracking and do some of the high speed events as described below.

easy answer

gt2 RS......

http://www.themotorreport.com.au/503...t2-rs-revealed

I realize price point is more but you have proven over and over again you can are hard to satisfied long term, (not an insult, I am the same way....) I mean fully satisfied and always end up spending extra $$$ into your cars with Mod.....

From your current and past cars owned and modded I think this maybe your only option for long term happiness..... well at least a few years

happy hunting as half the fun is the search!!!

I didn't want to do the mile events at first . One must undestand that after spending so much into the car it's hard to just take it out onto the track and haul a$$ without a little worry about ruining the car . or getting hurt or both.

The idea of taking time to savor in the car and enjoy it gradually has my car only with 10K miles.

I have the rest of my life to do a track event... in good time.

That salesman needs to spell-check what he writes. He argues the virtues of an RS with options that should not be there, like sound systems, adaptive seats, and front axle lift. An RS should never be purchased as a trophy object to be polished and paraded, but so goes the world. PAG should only sell those cars to pre-qualified sports drivers.

Front axle lift is standard on the RS as well as ipod and bluetooth. So are engine mounts .

Look --even a track driver has to drive to and from the track . If he listens to a song or has to make a phone call .. that extra weight isn't going to make his lap time any slower than if he ate pizza and gained 10 pounds. I'll skip the pizza and take the phone and the miniscule ipod . I agree though taht heated adaptice seats are silly though . I decided on sport bucket.

I have the window sticker and it was on all of their cars. I'll check and see if there even is a charge for it but no matter what i would get it. I wish my Turbo had it.
