^track car with no PCCB? I've heard this before...PCCB is not the best for the track. Better off with standard 'S' brakes with competition pads. You could save some coin...and avoid those ugly yellow calipers. Just a thought.

I don't want ceramics . Reviews are mixed and as usual the guys who have them justify having them by praising them . The guys who don't point out the cost to buy them and add the cost of maintenance . Then both sides debate maintenance cost .

I'll save the money by opting out of the option.

Yep exactly...PCCB are not worth it and not great at the track over the Porsche steel brakes.

If I am not mistaken the brake size is the same for GT3 RS and Ceramics...

I find that I think about the RS allot too. I think it's because it's the "pie in the sky"....it's the car that you would like to have, but know in the back of your mind that you probably will never have it. It's the car that you try to rationalize out of your mind. I didn't even consider such cars when I was in the market because they are "too impractical" for driving on the road primarily. I've since changed my tune over the last couple of years. I personally don't drive the C2S much, at least not as much as I thought I would...so in hindsight, what difference does it make if it's practical or not, considering how much I drive anyway? Anyway, that's where I'm at with the whole thing right now. Good luck, If you're in a position to do it, what a position that is!

it's the car that you would like to have, but know in the back of your mind that you probably will never have it.
If I was a track driver I would buy it hands down --no doubt in my mind at all. My turbo is the type of car that has street use , curb appeal, very very fast. It is also tuned to factor out a lot of the typical lag . The weight is there but it's dropped on quite a suspension upgrade.
It can blow away my PDK car which is also tuned to over 400 Hp with the FVD components.

For me the appeal of the Gt3RS is the genetics born out of Porsche racing history . It's impractical --just plain silly for me because I haven't yet reached the day to want to wake up early, drive to a track, to drive on the track, to drive home , to spend money fixing the wear and tear of track use . I can see some fun in it .. but it sounds more like work than fun . I can understand a pro driver who gets paid to drive a lot more than doing it for free . That's really where an RS belongs and with an owner who really likes doing this frequently.
