Just shows ya the power of the P.!
Yeah I know... a friend of mine bought an E63 AMG and tried to explain how good it was to a BBQ crowd and just couldn't finish... Amazing how most people don't even know the E class.. Moi - Je dis simplement 911 et voila!

E63 AMG... NICE!!!
You don't have explain that to me.

You know it's sort of amazing, even when 5 year boys see me driving by you see them point and say PORSCHEEEEE.
I think it's in our DNA.

BTW nice thread!
It takes a cool cat to do one like this, props!
To bad it's seems to be coming to an end...

When mine was in for its first oil change they found the RMS leaking and they gave me a Tundra to drive for a few days. That was fun, in a totally different sort of way.

Ha ha, I have not sympathy for you. My clutch is being done and all I got was a rental Mitsubishi Outlander.

I too cry when I see another nine eleven. To compound the issue, I've missed four potential track days in the two weeks they've had the car and the parts aren't even in yet. Apparently this is like the 5th clutch they've done on 997s in the last two weeks and ran out of parts.

Sigh... if it takes much longer I'm going to see if I can get a Cayenne for the next track day. Ha ha

HA, I took my '10 carrera S in for an alignment and they gave me a Yaris as a loaner.
They ought to be ashamed of themselves. I get better treatment and loaners from Infiniti....

Yeah what's all this loaner car nonsense!. First they get us hooked, and then expect us to settle in for something far less!!!!. Marketing strategy? Well it works.

Nice to know I'm not the only one!.

You get an A6 3.0T as a loaner? The SoCal Porsche dealerships opt for enterprise rental cars for their customers...

We (Korea) used to get the showroom cars until they sold them too...We do pay a lot for our cars - My 997.2 C4S with reasonable options cost me 180M KRW excluding registration with is a further 11% or so... this is close to 160~170K US$ and most of us buy a new one every 2~3 years.

So in some respect, we deserve better from our official porsche dealerships!.
