EJ-997 is infamous around these parts
I have 9500ix and it is ok. The GPS feature is nice. The redlight feature works as long as it has the location in the data base. A new location in my neighborhood was not in the data base.

Totally satisfied with my 9500ix...I like the GPS features and updates and know for certain that it has saved my a$$ a few times...I see no reason to change. A good cruising friend of mine has the V1 and we stay in contact when out on 2 way radio and never has he had an alert that I did'nt get and vice versa...I am sure they are both top quality and the best at what they do. Probably could not go wrong with either unit. I am going to upgrade to the full 9500CI jammer set up soon though.....
