Saw a black 997.2 C2S driving by with the Turbos! I think I've made up my mind. I will now by looking for some 997 Turbo take-offs.

I was looking for a car with classics and found the perfect car (for me) but with the turbo's. I intended to switch out the turbo for the classics, but now I like the turbo better, so I'm keeping them. Just personal preference. BTW - I think the "turbo" wheels for the narrow bodies (C2 and C2s) won't fit on a wide body (TT or C4) and visa-versa.

The Carrera Classics looked great - understated, simple, one of the lighter weight OEM wheels and easy to clean. When I purchased mine, these came with the car - I knew I wanted the Carrera Sports (10-spokes) as that was the vision of my perfect 997. I have upgraded to the Carrera Sports now. Its the look I wanted, but they are heavier and you can feel the difference. So the question for you is are you a silver finish or polished finish guy? Also, you could get either the Classics or Turbos in wide body fitments. Either way you go, post the pics!

I bought these just after I put the car away for winter. I saw a C4S with the classics and although they are nice, I prefered the Turbo wheels.

The wheels are off a Turbo and the offset is perfect IMO.

my only grudge against classics in 18" is rim width - 8"f 10"r is way too narrow, especially for rear. it is quite a pain as track sways/shocks setup for wide rubber has way too much oversteer on street rims/rubber.

as of design alone - this 5 spoke classic look is the best. looks boring at first but them you get back to it as it is real classic porsche look and aftermarket stuff can be seen on any other car out there.

PS. my street set is 18" carrera classic rims with 235/275 dunlop z1 star specs.

Of your choices, the Classic. However, personally, I would go with the Carrera S II.
