New wheels for my C2S -- Carrera Classic or 997 Turbo?
I’m looking to get your thoughts and opinions on the two wheel choices I’ve presented.
My Carrera S wheels are simply not doing it for me. I've decided I want OEM Porsche wheels and therefore debating between the Carrera Classic and the 997 Turbo.
Please no Aftermarket vs. OEM wheel debates. I've made up my mind. :-)
My Car:
997.1 C2S Black/Black, stock ride height.

Carrera Classics, they look great, will never look dated, and are easy to clean. If the finish gets ruined due to salt or curbs it is easy to get painted, where as the exposed metal look isn't as easy to refinish.

I'd have to disagree with NorthVan....I think that the Turbo wheels would look a lot better than the Carrera Classics. But that's just my .02.

I special ordered the classics on my SY 997.1 and loved them. I would get them again in a heartbeat, especially on any car painted in a bright color. Black also looks great - nice and clean. Turbo wheels are too busy for a Carrera.

I struggled with the same thing. Ended up with the Turbo wheels as I thought they look a bit more aggressive. However, you have to go with what you like, not what someone else thinks is better looking.

I'll try to visit the dealership around here as I think they have a couple with the Turbo rims.
Thanks for your input.

That's a great pair of photos.. makes me glad I have the Classics, although I like the Sport wheels as well. I'm not a huge fan of Turbo wheels.
