I'm joining the thread!

Like others, I am waiting for a "fitment" before I commit. A group buy would be a winner!

PS Like your 996 GT3 sport-style seats too!

One thing I notice right away is that the LED density looks somewhat sparse compared to factory. I don't like seeing all those little reflectors and diodes. Here's a factory conversion taken from another thread. What do you think?

I think you are right, and this will likely be a big negative of these ... that they will have that cheap, Taiwanese, ricer, etc, etc look we all fear

...maybe some enterprising soul will replace the LED's strips within for some with a higher density of LEDs?

...or maybe enough feedback from potential buyers may have the manufacturer tweak the design?

...or maybe one can take the innards from these and install into the OEM housings for some kind of hybrid effect

I also might be thinking out too loud!

I agree as well - looks a bit sparse. I wish they wouldn't have left so much space for fog light area. You'd think they could have extended the turn slight to the right even more.

Low density doesn't necessarily make it ricer looking. Look at those Audi LED tail lights. As long as they use high power LEDs then it should look fine.

No matter how many photos we get from the seller/manufacturer, I'd wait for a non-biased third party opinion who has actually installed a set.

Agreed, steph. Also, now I'm wondering if the rear light control module in an '05 needs to be upgraded for them to work.

Did a quick photoshop of my car and thought I would share with you guys.
